3rd Shift Occupational Health Registered Nurse

3rd Shift Occupational Health Registered Nurse needed for a contractopportunity with Yoh’s client located in Davenport, IA. Potential for temp-to-hire for the right fit!


The clinic offers occupational, primary, and preventative care for employees. Very similar to working in an urgent care but you are only seeing adults and it is not fast-paced. Must be comfortable working by yourself as you will likely be the only medical professional onsite during this shift.
--> Shifts are Monday - Friday 10:45pm to 7:15am (hours open to negotiation)


Top Skills You Should Possess:

• Active/unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in state of Iowa
• Minimum (3) years' experience as a Nurse
• Previous experience highly recommended: Occupational Health, Emergency Medicine, Urgent Care, Primary Care, Corrections, School Nursing, and/or Family Medicine type setting
• Recent clinical experience and strong first-aid skills
  

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Nursing assessment, triage, treatment, and education for employee health concerns
• Administer first-aid
• Provide medical testing (occupational and health screening tests) such as: EKG, audiometry, spirometry, vision, pulmonary function, blood glucose, blood pressure, cholesterol, etc.
• Participate in plant safety and ergonomic programs
• Assist with the accident investigation program to identify root cause analysis of all incidents and near misses
• Documentation using EMR (EPIC)
• Assist First Responders in medical emergencies
  

What You Need to Bring to the Table:

• BLS/CPR certified (hands on courses only - no online accepted)
• Yearly TB (PPD) or QuantiFeron Gold test
• Yearly fit test
