Responsibilities

• Guide families through the complete birthing experience, providing expert clinical care from labor and delivery through the vital postpartum recovery period.
• Champion the patient’s voice by coordinating with physicians and specialists to ensure a seamless, well-communicated care plan tailored to each mother and newborn.
• Monitor the well-being of both mother and baby with precision, proactively identifying clinical changes to ensure a safe and supportive environment.
• Empower new parents through personalized education and discharge planning, ensuring they feel confident and prepared for the journey home.
  
  

Requirements

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  
  

Education

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire required.
  
  

Additional Preferences

• 2 years or more LDRP experience highly preferred for PRN roles.
